Rules & Regulations
The safety of our guests and staff continues to be our top priority at Santa’s Village. To ensure your visit is as safe and enjoyable as possible, we have implemented the following enhanced security procedures effective immediately:
– No coolers or outside food will be allowed inside the park*
– All guests are required to pass through metal detectors prior to entering the park
– All guests are subject to visual inspection and bag checks
Santa’s Village Amusement Park is a family-friendly destination and guests are expected to behave properly and respect others.
For your safety and enjoyment at our park, please carefully read all the rules below. All guests will be required to follow all laws and regulations established by Santa’s Village Amusement & Water Park, the State of Illinois, County of Kane, and the Village of East Dundee.
Failure to follow park rules, regulations and instructions set forth below may result in serious injury to yourself or other individuals. Violation of park rules will result in expulsion without refund.
- No outside alcohol.
- For your safety, grills and other flammable items are not permitted in the park or on the premises.
- No glass containers.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Conduct that is disorderly, disruptive, or in poor taste is prohibited.
- Profanity is prohibited.
- No running, spitting, or throwing of objects.
- No solicitation or unapproved distribution of literature or materials.
- Tickets resold or distributed by unauthorized persons will be confiscated without refund or exchange.
- No refunds. All sales are final.
- No line jumping under any circumstances. Line jumping is defined as cutting or leaving the line and trying to re-enter for any reason.
- No “rollies” or “wheelies” style shoes, wheels must retracted or removed while in the park.
- While in the park, footwear with soles and shirts must be worn at all times.
- Clothing with inappropriate/offensive words, phrases, or graphics is prohibited.
- Riders may be restricted on certain rides because of height, weight or health limitations. Ride requirements are posted
at the entrance of all rides. Supervising Companion: The accompanying person must meet all the attraction requirements, as well as assist the guest. This includes helping the guest in the loading and unloading of the attraction, assisting the guest in maintaining postural
control while the attraction is in motion, and assisting the guest down the stairs, catwalks, or steeply inclined ramps
in case of mechanical / power failure / adverse weather. - Theft of any kind will be prosecuted.
- Firearms, weapons and knives are prohibited on this property.

- To participate in water park activities, guests must wear lined swimsuits.
- Guests are not allowed to enter water areas wearing street clothes, including but not limited to: cut-off shorts, denim clothing, basketball shorts, athletic clothing, sweatpants or sweatshirts.
- Swimwear with buttons, snaps, rivets or zippers are also prohibited.
- All apparel worn in the pool and on the slides shall be clean.
- Swimwear which is too provocative or revealing, including but not limited to: transparent or mesh-style material is prohibited. Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times, including tops for female infant and toddler guests.
- Please do not wear eyeglasses or jewelry into the wet deck or on the slides as they may not be retrievable if lost.
- Only clean footwear, baby strollers or wheelchairs are allowed in the pool area or bathhouse.
- Footwear, other than aqua socks, are not allowed on the wet deck.
- Aqua socks are not permitted on the body slides.
- Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and actively supervised.
- Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing safety rules and responding to emergencies. If any guest fails to listen to a lifeguard, they may be asked to leave the water park temporarily or permanently.
- Admission to the water park area shall be refused to all persons having any contagious disease; any infectious conditions such as colds, fever, ringworm, foot infections, skin lesions, carbuncles, boils, diarrhea, vomiting, inflamed eyes, ear discharges; or any other condition that has the appearance of being infectious. Persons with excessive sunburn, abrasions that have not healed, corn plasters, bunion pads, adhesive tape, rubber bandages or other bandages of any kind shall also be refused admittance.
- A person under the influence of alcohol or exhibiting erratic behavior shall not be permitted in the pool area.
- For safety, all height, weight and health restrictions are strictly enforced on all attractions.
- The pool water is not suitable for drinking. Avoid swallowing pool water. Spitting, spouting out water, blowing the nose or otherwise introducing contaminants into the pool is not permitted.
- All persons are encouraged to take a shower before entering the pool area.
- No running or boisterous / rough play.
- No diving. No swimming alone.
- All children who are not toilet-trained shall wear tight fitting rubber or plastic pants. The use of swim diapers is required with proper swimwear.
- No diaper changing on the pool deck.
- Food, drink or gum is only allowed on the dry deck.
- Smoking and littering is prohibited in the water park.
- Glass, soap, or other material that might create hazardous conditions or interfere with efficient operation of the water park shall not be permitted in the water park or on the pool deck.
- If lightning is present, the water park will close until the lightning has passed, including a 15-minute period after the last lightning is observed.
- Management has the authority to implement and enforce rules that are more stringent or that supplement those listed here.
